THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT INSTALLING YOUR OWN HOME ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM

Setting up your new home entertainment center, may seem like an overwhelming
task, but believe me, it is not as complicated as you would think, but there
are some things that you need to know before starting.

1.. A boxed set entertainment system may be convenient, but is not the
best deal for your money. Many of the components may work well together,
but if you try to switch them up, you will find that they may not be
compatible with any others.
2.. If you plan to set up a plasma Television then you will definitely
want to purchase a plasma wall bracket, as in most cases this will not come
with your television. A lot of people anticipate that it is included, only
to return home disappointed. Then they run to the nearest place and pick
one up for a lot more money than they really needed to spend.
3.. Be sure to include a good set of speakers with your system. Depending
on the room size you may want to use between 3-7 speakers. Be sure that
placement is balanced to insure that you have the best possible sound
quality.
4.. Whether you want to allow your speakers to be seen or hidden will be
your decision, however be sure that you find a way to hide the speaker
cables
, especially if you live in a house with animals and / or children.
Even if you don’t though, your theater set up will be more aesthetically
pleasing without having wires all around in sight.
5.. Be sure to include a good Blu-ray player. All blu ray players will
play your old DVD movies, but with a slightly better quality of both picture
and sound, but having a blu ray player will allow you to get current movies
that are better quality and if you are going to have your own home theater,
you really need a blu ray player.
6.. Check the lighting prior to hanging your plasma television. The best
way to do this is to decide where you want to place your television and then
keep watch for a 24 hour period on that area. This must be done on a sunny
day. Look for any unusual light glares from windows or other rooms that may
affect viewing on your new plasma TV. If you find there is a glare you may
want to reconsider the location of it.
7.. Be sure to use a level when placing the plasma wall bracket. Failing
to do so can really mess up your viewing enjoyment. Once it is secured to
the wall with the television in place, it will be nearly impossible to
correct it if it has been attached incorrectly.

A new home entertainment center can be an exciting addition to your
household; however it is important to install it correctly, taking your time
to do it just right. Don’t rush to get it in, if you do, you may be sorry
in the end.
